This dessert originated in Luxenbourg. There is not a lot known about the history of this dessert. What I was able to find out was that it was most frequently served during Fuesent. This is carnival season in February. If anyone knows any history of this dessert I would love to know. If I find anything else out about it I will update my post. This dessert is a fried dough, made up sugar, butter, flour and eggs.
